On April 19, 2011 the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved the contract for a new fire station located at the intersection of Nokes Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard in the Kincora development, Loudoun County, Virginia…
The four bay fire station will be located on approximately five acres at the entrance to the Kincora mixed-use development. The building will include apparatus bays as well as shared spaces for operations, community room, fitness and residential areas. The building is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2013 and will consist of approximately 17,500 gross square feet.
Kincora is a dynamic new mixed-use development located just outside of Washington, D.C. in Loudoun County, Virginia. The 6.7 million square foot project includes a community with world-class amenities and unsurpassed architectural quality and detail. The project, which was designed using smart growth principles and environmental sensitivity, includes a 400-acre pedestrian friendly commerce center and more than 165 acres of natural parks and trails—all located at the crossroads of Loudoun County’s “knowledge” (universities, research and biotech) and “commerce” (Dulles Airport and major corporations) corridors. When complete, Kincora will serve as a model for sustainable development and smart mixed-use. Kincora is being developed by the team of Norton Scott LLC and TRITEC Real Estate Company.
