7th Annual Jazz Poetry Slam

A Fierce Flower of Infinite Possibilities
Come spoken word artists, rappers, sages, veterans, therapists, activists, students, student-groups, actors, first-time poets, dreamers, scribes and lovers of the spoken word for a night of jazz and poetry.This is a TRUTH ZONE!

Poets will be offered 3 minutes to recite their poem over quiet jazz. The poets are encouraged to speak their truth in any language if they provide a translation of their 3 minute poetry to the Slam Judges.

Cash prizes!
$100.00 for 1st place,
$50.00 for 2nd place

Suggested donation:
$15.00 for slammers
$10.00 for audience members.
Free for teenagers
